Venue Description Living History - Revolutionary War, Civil War, Day on the Farm, etc.  A working apple orchard and living history farm in the Oak Glen area. In addition to farming, we love history and we have provided a venue for re-enactment units comprising many different eras.

Location 12261 S. Oak Glen Road, Oak Glen, CA (~1 1/2 hour drive)
Directions Take the I-10 or the I-60 towards Palm Springs. Exit on Beaumont Avenue. Turn Left and proceed approximately nine miles, until you see the sign that reads "Welcome to Oak Glen." (Beaumont Ave./Road will become Oak Glen Road.) Look for the large, red-lettered "Riley's Farm" sign and turn in to the right.  http://www.rileysfarm.com/map.htm

   For fee, in camp $9/person -- 2 hour "Colonial Farm Adventure" or "Old Joe Homestead" tour, includes at least 8 of: 17th  &  18th Century Children’s Games, Cheese Making, Butter Making, Feather Quill & Ink Calligraphy, Cider Pressing, Weaving, Bread Baking, Etiquette, Colonial "Fire Bucket Brigade!", Candle Making, Caramel Apple Dipping, Calico Fabric Stamping
  $12/person (15 people minimum) -- Revolutionary War Adventure

Tips and hints The weather can be different than OC - can be colder, hotter, wetter.  Be prepared!  Fabulous day - big bang for the buck.
