Hi there! I'm the 2007-2008 Moonbeam Nation Chief. I've been in the Y-Maidens program for 5 years with my 12 year old daughter, Jessica. Saddly, this next year will be our last, but like all girls, they eventually outgrow the program. We have had such a wonderful time with the Maiden Program. Although I'm a single mom, and Jessica is my only child, it's still nice to have 1-on-1 time with other moms and daughters. Outside of the Maidens, Jessica and I enjoy going to movies, concerts, traveling, making 'Color Me Mine' objects (glazed pottery) and generally any other arts and craft projects. Jessica is also a Juliette Girl Scout and is active in the AYSO. I'm a very proud mother and glad to be a part of the Saddleback YMCA!

I love working at the YMCA and being apart of the program that is focused on strengthing the family! I tell my friends I camp and hang out with parents who want to hang out with their kids :) Outside hobbies include traveling the US, snowboarding, watching sports and salsa dancing. I also have a small obsession with anything tropical and when I was the Day Camp Director at the Y, my camp name that I was known by all campers and parents was Hula!
