Tips and hints If they have a good rainy season, flowers are plentiful in March and April.   Be cautious of severe thunderstorms in July-Sept.
It can get very hot from April 15 - Nov 1st, and heatstroke is possible.   Good place for a mountain bike.
There are 5 group campsites. 1st one there on a reservation gets a choice of which one of the five they want. Chance that
if you have 3 of the 5 sites, they may not be together. Get there early to check in. The town is close by. Easy bicycle ride if
you want to get some lunch or dinner (about 2 miles).
Great hiking hill next to the group campsites.
Little bit of a walk to the nice bathrooms. Some crude flush toilets are available close-by.
