at the LA Museums!

Ride the Party Bus to fun! Only $25/person!

Come join us for a day of fun times and cool science as we take the Party Bus up to the newly rebuilt Griffith Park Observatory, followed by a visit to the Los Angeles Science and Natural History museums!  Check out a very cool  Planetarium show, and the 3D IMAX movie about prehistoric sea monsters!  It'll blow your mind!

Agenda

8:15      Arrive at the YMCA and board the Party Bus
Map here.  Do not park in the main lot.
(Note: No food or glass drink containers are allowed on the bus.)
 
8:30 Departure for the Griffith Park Observatory  
10:00 Arrive at Observatory  
  Optional self-pay Planetarium Shows ($7/adults, $5/students):
  -- 10:45 - Water Is Life
  -- 11:45 - Centered in the Universe (highly recommended!)
Lunch on your own in the Observatory cafeteria
1:30 Depart for Exposition Park
2:00 Arrive at Exposition Park
    California Science Center, Natural History Museum, Air & Space Museum
Admission is free to all museums -- go to the ones you like!
3:30 "Sea Monsters 3D" IMAX movie (ticket included in event price)
The IMAX Theater is just outside the front entrance to the Science Center.  If you go to the Natural History Museum first, allow time to get back to the theater for the show!
5:00 Depart from Exposition Park
6:00 Expected arrival back at the YMCA

The Party Bus is limited to the first 50 people that sign up!
