Camping by the Beach in San Onofre!

Come camp by the beach in the exclusive San Onofre campground!
 

Location:

Inside Camp Pendleton, just south of San Clemente, off the Basilone exit of the 5.  Map here
Do not arrive before 5pm on Friday!  You must present Driver's License, Registration, and Proof of Insurance, and a signed copy of this waiver at the gate to Camp Pendleton.

Cost: $27 per person
 
Activities: Friday Night movie

Saturday Morning Nation Pancake Breakfast (included in cost,
       other meals are group cooking, please bring cash for your share)

Saturday Optional Activities:

  • Beach play -- surfing, boogie boards, sand castles, etc.
  • Horseshoes, volleyball, frisbee
  • Hanging out, relaxing, unwinding, making new friends

Saturday Night Campfire

  • Each Tribe will lead an entertainment of their choice. Ideas include: present a skit, sing a song, choreograph and perform a dance, lead a sing-along, tell a campfire story, tell jokes
  • Keith Comer, our Trailmates Songmaster, will sing a few songs (and he may even take requests)
Amenities:     Hot showers, Real restrooms, Fire rings
 
What To Bring:
  • Each tribe to provide 2 bundles of firewood for the Nation Campfire on Saturday night
  • Each tribe to arrange for your own food
  • Usual tent camping stuff
  • Beach toys, boogie boards, surf boards, wet suits, sunscreen, etc.
