Rose Parade Float Decorating
|
![]() |
Experience the magic of decorating these amazing, beautiful, rolling floral gardens and having your work seen by millions of people on New Year's Day! This is always one of our favorite Trailmates events and one that you won't want to miss!Festival Artists are counting on 70 to 90 volunteers from the Trailmates program to show up, so please attend even if the weather isn't sunny. The floats are basically indoors, so you won’t get too wet or too cold. (Well, maybe just not too wet.) We usually get to work on the Disney float, so it's really cool! Note that the minimum age for flower preparation is 8, minimum for working directly on the floats is 11, and that only 13 and up are allowed to work up on the scaffolding.
