Canoe Down the Colorado River!

Join the fun and excitement of camping and canoeing down the Colorado River!!!

Camp at Park Moabi campground and then take a 14-mile canoe journey down the river!  Jump in for a dip!  Beach your canoe and have lunch in the wild (choose the California or Arizona side!).  Have "pirate" water fights with your friends!

Cost: $69.00 per person at sign-up, plus $3 per person per night "at the gate" (see "Camping" below)
Hard registration deadline is April 30th.
 
Includes: Continental breakfast (pastries, coffee, milk, juice) on Saturday and Sunday, lunch and dinner on Saturday, the canoe journey (provided by Jerkwater Canoe Company).
 
Camping: Tents $3.00 per person per night payable at Camp Moabi check in.
Motor homes and pop-ups OK -- No hook up: $15/night. Partial hook up: $20.00/night. Full hook up: $25.00/night.
 
Canoeing Notes: Each canoe holds up to 3 people (one dad and one or two daughters).
Strongly recommended: low-profile beach chairs (save your backs), and two 7’ lengths of 2” diameter PVC and a roll of duct tape to connect two canoes together to form a catamaran for stability.  See above picture for application of both.
 
What to Bring: Camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, toiletries, etc.)
Water toys (bring it all!) and swimming gear
Plenty of sunscreen and insect repellant
Low profile beach chairs and PVC pipe
Cooler (Igloo size) for drinks and snacks in the canoe
Waterproof  bag for your camera.  (Even if you don't flip over or fall in, the bottom of the canoe gets filled.)
Fishing pole and tackle

This is a HARD CUTOFF.  We have to pay up front with final headcount to get a group discount.
