Recruiting Information & Files

Recruiting keeps our Nation alive and enjoyable for the younger kids and dads that have recently joined the Indian Guides program.  Additionally, having a large Nation helps to reduce the cost of our Nation events as well as ensuring sufficient headcount to secure facilities or campgrounds that have a fixed headcount requirements.

Here are some files that our Nation Chiefs and Recruiting Scouts have found to be very useful to explain to both kids and parents what the Indian Guides program is all about.

• Recruiting Power Point Presentation   &   30 minute video   (Separate files)

Once opened, click your mouse button to activate the animated text and change the pages of the 15 minute Powerpoint presentation.  Click on the camera on the last page to activate the 30 minute video clip. You may have to change the hyperlink of the camera icon to connect to the video file.  Use these files for the recruiting night meetings.

• In-Class Recruiting Speech

This MS Word document gives you a pre-made script to follow when doing an in-classroom presentation to Kindergarten through 4th grade kids.

 

• Potential Recruit Introduction Letter

This MS Word document gives you a boiler plate introduction letter that you can modify and send to the potential new recruits.  Just change the text in red font.  This letter has information about your tribe, our Nation, and the website address to our Nation webpage.

 

• Tribe Information Night Recruiting flyer

This MS Word document gives you a boiler plate flyer to hand out at the local schools.  Just change the text in red font.
