The GHV Pinewood Derby is one of the most anticipated events of the year. Each father/daughter team receives a plain cedar block of wood and car kit in early January (please see your chief) and within six-weeks transforms them into racing works of art.  Trophies are awarded to the top three finishers by grade for the Fastest Car, Most Original Design and Best Indian Theme. Participant medallions and certificates are also given to every racing princess. This is a great family event, with food and drinks to boot.
