Winter Camp 2009
at Camp Whittle

March 13-15, 2009

Join us this year in our quest for snow at Camp Whittle in Big Bear at Fawnskin! The cost is only $97 per person and includes 4 meals and nice new lodging accommodations.

Info:

Arrive on Friday, March 13 (check-in is after 3:00 pm)
Covers food Saturday morning through Sunday morning, nice lodging, and activities, nature center, arts and crafts
Enjoy the scenic hiking trails
Big Bear is close
Dinner Friday is on your own
Friday Night at the Movies after dinner
Breakfast, lunch and dinner served Saturday with breakfast served Sunday

Saturday night is Kerokee night.... bring your ipods or cd's... with appropriate song choice.  Have your solo singer or group singers ready, but one song/skit per tribe (like a music video).  Everyone Wins!!  Trophies are based on catagories:  most creative, funniest, best use of props, most girls involved, best choreography, best singing....


Stuff
to bring:

Winter clothes
Sleeping bag, pillow and PJ's
Towel and washcloth, toiletries
Snow boots (closed toed shoes)
Flashlight
Sunglasses (snow is very bright)
Sled equipment (sled, toboggan, etc.)

Tire chains have been suggested by Caltrans
